The GRE General Test is a computer-delivered exam that is taken by students or working professionals who are interested in pursuing Master’s, MBA or PhD programs at universities around the world.
In locations where the computer-delivered test is not available, students can choose to take the paper-based test three times a year in October, November and February.
You can register for the GRE by phone or online. But before you register, you need to create an account at the ETS website.
The account creation will require you to furnish your personal details such as:
Name
Date of birth
Gender
Email id
Permanent address
Contact number
Make sure that you save your username and password carefully as you would be using it until you take admission into a program.
On successful creation of an account, you will receive a confirmation mail from ETS on your registered email id.
Most students register online for the GRE. To begin the registration process, click the ‘Register Online Now’ button and log in with your username and password.
This will take you to the ‘My GRE Home’ page. Click on the blue button in the top left that says ‘Register/Find Test Centers, Dates’.
You will be led to a new page with a drop-down menu from which you can select the test that you want to take. Once you choose the GRE General Test, select the centre where you wish to appear for the exam.
Then choose your test date from the given calendar; dates that are highlighted green are open to book. A date usually has 3-time slots. Choose the one that suits you most by clicking ‘Register’.
Next, you can review the personal information that you entered. You can go back and edit your information by clicking ‘Edit Test Information’ button on the top of the page.
You can choose to take the GRE Search Service that allows prospective schools to discover your profile. You can now proceed to pay the test fees of $205 on the ETS Checkout page. Payment can be made via credit or debit card.
Once your payment is made, you will receive confirmation on the ETS page and also on your registered email id. Voila! Your registration is complete.
This is the second time I am preparing for GMAT and I'm very happy with the progress I've made so far. Because of some other reason I wasn't able to take up the test last year but was quite satisfied by what jamboree had to offer to me. Luckily the faculty this year is the same and hopefully, I am on the right track and will do good at the test.

The quant and verbal faculty for GRE are very good and approachable. Both the quant and verbal teachers gave individual attention to me whenever i required it. I tried classes at other institutes as well but the individual attention by the faculty and quality of teaching by the faculty is not comparable to any other institute. The staff at the center are also very cooperative. They make us feel that they are there to help us in whichever way they can. Hence i am pretty much satisfied by the quality of teaching and the material that they provide here at Jamboree. The extra feature is the webinar, which are taken by the best faculty for the subject. I personally feel,it is one of the U.S.P (unique selling point)of Jamboree. Hence i am satisfied and happy by my decision to join Jamboree and would recommend others as well to join it for GRE preparation.

I have taken Jamboree's Counseling in 2020-21 and the counselor was Mr. Aninder Singh Dhaka. I am extremely happy and recommend the services to all the aspiring candidates.
